Aragorn II

Aragorn II was a Dúnadan, and as King Elessar, the first King of the Reunited Kingdom of the Dúnedain. He was the heir of Isildur, and thus he was raised secretly in Rivendell, being called Estel, until he was age 20, and then Elrond revealed to him his true lineage. It was around this time that Aragorn first met Arwen, but Elrond would not let them marry until Aragorn was the king of Gondor.

At this point he went off into the wild, and served both Rohan and Gondor under aliases for the next eighty years, doing all in his power to aide in the fight against Sauron. He was soon the strongest and wisest Man of the time. He met Gandalf in 2956, and they became fast friends. After thirteen years of searching at Gandalf's request Aragorn caught Gollum. He later met Frodo and guided he and his companions to Rivendell, and afterwards became a Companion of the Ring, and lead the party after the fall of Gandalf.

He had many great accomplishments in the War of the Ring, for he led the defense of the Hornburg, where he and Éomer became great friends. He then took the Paths of the Dead with Legolas, Gimli, and a small company of Rangers before coming to Corsairs and stopping the Haradrim fleet from sailing to Gondor. Upon doing this he brought a huge force of Men from South Gondor to aide in the Battle of the Pelennor Fields, which was on the brink of being lost until he showed up.

After the winning of the War of the Ring, Aragorn became King Elessar of Gondor and married Arwen. He ruled for 120 years, and restored peace and prosperity to the Kingdom. During the entire War of the Ring he bore Narsil in some form.
